Gold pins stripes and Team Lotus

here’s a question in my roll as Australian LCR rep. The chap who bought my Mk2 wants to put the gold pin stripes and “Team Lotus” that he’s seen on a few period cars and asked me if there is any reason he shouldn’t. ie is it allowed? I can’t think of any reason that he can’t except that he shouldn’t!

How's winter down there??

As far as anyone including Lotus should be concerned it is the owners car and he can do what he likes with his vehicle!
If he wants to put a V8 in it who should argue that he can't?

The problem would be if the owner tried to sell items with a Lotus Logo which would not be backed or sanctioned by Lotus!
