To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the 1968 London to Sydney Marathon some of the original cars along with
members of some crews and officials are hoping to make the run from Perth WA to Sydney NSW in December.
The organisers are only putting together the Australian section as that is easiest to do from this end.
Running through and over as much of the original route as possible.
During the running of the event a dinner will be held to reminisce exchange memories, with a live video link with Andrew Cowan the winner.
It is intended to finish the run at Warwick Farm in Sydney on the 17th of December 2018.
Which is the exact date of the finish in 1968.
Please contact me for further details if anyone feels they would like to contribute anything at all to enhance this important celebration.
