Hi Folks
Firstly let me say that this latest isse of QB is an excellant one, with some great articles in there and great restorations in it.
I thought I would comment on the article in the latest QB, being the "open letter by Andy Morrell"page 21 and the "opinion document" page 43.
I think that the response from Andy was measured, appropriate, and accurate, and well done Andy.
The opinion document and stance by the committe, was again, a well measured response to the difficult issues raised by recent articles and comments on this but mostly other sites like ebay. This also addresses the issue of who is welcome and with what type of car basically all!!!!!
I feel these two responses are just what was needed, and I for one, welcome tand support he articles as they will help potential buyers and clearly sets the valuation process out for all members to see.
One further question why not put the opinion document in the introduction section for all to see, for those that are not privilaged to the QB, ie non members but enthusiasts who visit the LCR?
Well done to all the people involved and the committe members for a great measured response to a difficult issue. I for one think it hit the mark spot on, great stuff guys.
Regards
Kev
