Hi All,
My name is Peter McCormick and I am an Australian living with my family in Pittsburgh USA. I recently purchased a 1964 Lotus Cortina (UK rego 4234 RZ), this car having been restored by Steve Booker. Looking forward to learning even more about these cars.

Hello Peter & welcome to the forum.

I'm seeing Steve & another couple of likely lads for a beer tonight. I'm sure you will be receiving your fair share of info from him.

It's a lovely car. Steve's was one of the best restorations I've seen & that's saying something as I don't, as a rule, have too many nice things to say about A-frame cars!

I hope it gives you as much pleasure as mine gives me.

That lotus cortina is a well travelled vehicle, originally registered in England, then moved to Jersey, then to Northern Ireland, then back to England and now to the U.S.A. I knew of the car when it was in Northern Ireland and it sat unused at the back of a car showroom, needing restoration. Steve ended it's hibernation and brought it back to life. The registration 4234 RZ is from it's time in Northern Ireland, but I remember it still having a Jersey registration number on it when it first arrived.
