Our Mk2 has just been retrieved after many years. It looks worse than it is!
I will post more pictures if they would be of interest.

I also love a rusty  (and mint) car picture Keith.

I was very pleasantly surprised how well this one has survived. Mine since 1994, engine out around 98 and then lost in storage until last week! The strut tops are still ok and the BA91 chassis number is still there. Jacking points all ok as are the front and rear chassis rails.

I have had a good look underneath today, and all considered it is very sound. Chassis rails and spring hangers seem very good. Floors all there with little rust and no holes. The interior is complete and the dash top is not cracked and looks mint!

@ Rob, I dont know what we will do yet. I would love to do it but I have other projects ongoing and I may have to be realistic. Its a difficult one! Cant do them all!!

Well its gone!! Sold to a nice man from south London. I am sad to see it go, but it will now get the restoration it deserves.
Its been hard to admit to myself that I will never get to do all of my projects, but better to concentrate on the ones I stand a chance with.

Have a word with rest of them - I can't remember how many conversations I have had with those in denial.
