Battery Tray.

I know this question has been asked before, but I cant find it or the answers.
I need to order a battery tray from Ex-Pressed for the 64 PAF that I am on with, as I think there will be a bit of a lead time.
They list a few trays, anyone know the correct one for a 64 car? Also a picture of where the locating holes should be?
Thanks in advance

I'll have a look at mine tomorrow and measure it,- not sure if it is original though but it is just OK for the right rated Lincon battery.
Do you not have the holes where it locates ?

Hello Pete
Thanks, that would be helpful. There were no holes as the panel had been "repaired" with flat plate.
I have a NOS replacement.

Sorry for the delay,- I couldn't remember where your post was !
My tray is about 16" x 5" but does not have a rounded corner like your replacement (?) with the securing studs about 12" and 3.5" apart which are in cylinderical spacers to lift it off the boot floor by about 1/2".
I would need to take the battery out to be more accurate.
I have heard of people using Capri battery trays ?
The battery is a Lincon 183 which is 332 x 132mm

Thanks Pete, There are coincidentally some photos on the LCR facebook at the moment so I can probably get somewhere close.

Hi there.

I am after the same info. You have probably seen my posts on Facebook.

I might have enough trays to make you one. Need to find the rear hole spacings out then I'm good to go.

Expressed ones are not correct. Close but not right. The early one would work of there but not found ju evidence so far that the rectangle hole was like they have it. I have come to the conclusion the coil mount part was cut off and the tray used like that.

PM me on Facebook and I will send pics of what I've been up.

Matt

Found this on another post on here.

Evidence the early one on expressed site had the hole with the step on the sides. Later ones must be how I described or maybe the other way around as why make a tray the stop using it and cut up a standard tray!
