On behalf of Eric Lewis, I'm glad to say that you can all now look forward to the final chapters in the restoration of this early interesting car. The car is now in my workshop and I have allowed Eric full use of the space and equipment within. Being a mk2 man myself I'm not that versed with some of the details required to maintain the originality of this early car, and will be relying heavily on the members of the forum to help out where they can with guidance and information. I will thank you in advance. Lets get this done for Eric, he's had a pretty rough ride over the last 3 years or so! and those that already know him, know that he is as keen as mustard, and desparate to get this finished within a time that he can still enjoy it.

Indeed Keith,
The first pictures I will post up in the next few days showing areas where there have been holes filled in!! I will be looking for guidance on whether they should have remained etc before the final paint details are applied.
