Carb detailing - what finishes?

Does anyone know the correct finishes for the various nuts , bolts , banjo's , springs, linkages , covers etc on the DCOE's? I’ve seen all sorts of finishes from polished brass , yellow passivate , zinc , chrome etc.

You could pattern your restoration after the details of a new carb;

Thanks Dave and Jim. It seems that the yellow passivate was only used on the later runs of the carbs and would not be correct for our cars.

Looking at your carbs Dave i think a fair summary would be if the hardware is not brass then it was bright zinc plated.
