Does anyone have one of the factory fitted transistorised +ve earth push button radios that feature in the Mk1 Cortina workshop manual & parts lists?

I am trying to figure out the wiring for the speaker to test it, as it seems to have a 4 pin plug in the back & normally a speaker has only two wires.

Also, anybody got a dead one kicking about as I also need the control knobs & fascia plate for a really clean one I have ?

Hi Keith
With your test meter set to ohm and or sound as well find which terminal is earth with the body of the radio then check between this terminal and the others for continuity and this should then be the speaker pair.

Thanks Neil - just wondering why the plug has 4 sockets on a Mono radio?
