First gear

I currently have 4 gearboxes to chose from that I can install in my 66 mk1 , I would like to install the original but the internet has left me confused , can you tell me what ratio first gear would have been when it left the factory.

1st 2.97, 2nd 2.01, 3rd 1.39, 4th 1.00
