View attachment 3I have been contacted by the owner of GBP 4C which was bought in the early 70's in Cumbria and has sat in a garage stripped for restoration since then. It looks like it just has a surface rust infection & needs a bare metalling and maybe more.

The good thing is the owner is going to get it done & get it back on the road.

Amazing - now that almost completes the jigsaw :-

1C - mine
2C - unknown
3C - being restored by Kevin Mansell
4C - awaiting resto
5C - being restored by Tony Hunt
7C - unknown
8C - burnt out & scrapped
9C - Malcolm RimmingtonView attachment 2View attachment 1

there was a big article in the Saturday Telegraph a week ago about classic police cars at the Ace café organised by
http://www.policecaruk.com/
although there is no write up of it yet

Looks like its been well stored Keith. It would great to see the surviving ones restored and displayed next to each other one day.

Yes it would be good to recreate that old lineup.
