I am trying to find out what head is an early and what is a late one. Having looked at a couple I cant figure it out. What I often hear is that a early head has the half moons between the sparkplugs and that the late dont have them. Well, having looked at the LP numbers at the back I have found heads without half moons with a higher LP number than a head with out.
I am under the impression that it is the number that really tells the age, or what?
