Home wanted for Service Bulletin.

Morning all. Rummaging through my pile of ill gotten gains last night I came across a copy of the Mk1 Cortina, developed by Lotus, Service Bulletin. It's dated March 1964 so is for the early cars. Hopefully I will upload a picture with this post.

It was given to me when I was rebuilding my car 1989-1993. I wrote to Ford (in Ockendon, North London I think) & they sent me several publications which were very useful but this one has always been surplus to my requirements so I thought I might as well sell it. I've know idea how much it might fetch but I think it would be nice if it could go to a member on here who would have a practical use for it.

Doesn't have the green edges Keith. It came as a single item so I don't know what it would be a part of. I don't think I've ever seen a complete set of the Ford workshop manual.

It's hard to tell what it is from that cover as Ford had a company call LAIT storage who used to print up these things & they had odd covers - can yo email me a couple of pics of some of the content so I can see if it's just a repackaged workshop supplement? keith.p.halstead@gmail.com

Hello Geoff

You can have it if you will use it. Peter Meyer called in to see me a couple of weeks ago. Do you know if he's still in the UK?

Regards

Just heard from Peter that he's just arrived home!

I sent Keith Halstead some pictures. I could try to send them to you Geoff if you let me have your email address.

Dave - they are indeed the factory service bulletin supplements to the Ford workshop manual for some of the Lotus unique parts. I have a copy already.

Just to let the membership know that the book is now winging it's way to Australia but I have scanned it so if anyone would like a copy I should be able to put it on a disk.
