Went past me today in Hornchurch

Good to see one being used during winter months

Well we have had some rain to wash the salt away !
If there is no more gritting for a while and a dry day, I will be taking mine out.

That was Phil's mate Colin the Wig's old car. I saw the new owner a few years ago at Battlesbridge & he'd paid about £18k for that with a spare engine - paint is shocking though - badly crazed.

I remember the 'wig', we used to meet at a pub in/near Aveley with Steve Saville.
I wonder where he is now, another very knowledgeable person like Scott with loads of spares stored away.
I did see him and had a chat at Battlesbridge a couple of years ago.

Whatever happened to Steve Saville?
I remember him from various LCR meetings very many years ago.
Come to that, what happened to some of the founding fathers of the LCR such as Phil Baskerville and others whose names have slipped away from the memory..........
Trouble is, nostalgia is not what it used to be..........

Steve still lives here in Essex & has a business selling those horrible goggle eyed Scorpios that Ford trotted out in the 90's. Wide mouth frog style.

There's a fella that lives near me in SE London and goes by the name of clyde, he did tell me his surname but I can't remember it, but he tells me he was a founder member with phil Baskerville and don matheson and his membership nos is 3, he still has two mk1's but has very little to do with the club but tells me he has some papers from ford or lotus that are quite rare and said he probably would donate them to the club one day, could someone verify his authenticity?

Regards Paul
