MK2 Lotus battery tray dont come up very often

I was after one - my one had rusted away and was well beyond economic repair!
I managed to get an Ex-pressed steel one, which is a pretty good reproduction. The only difference I could see was that the battery clamp holes in the original were slots, whilst the expressed steel version was just holes and also the fixings are bolts welded into the tray rather than studs.
Interesting that this one also has holes rather than slots - wonder if this is an original?

Hi Brendan

Did you buy it then? I thought it would be snapped up by one of our guys quickly, as it was being sold by a BMC type of spares guy and the starting price was low, so I wondered if he knew how much they are worth!!

Iwas bidding on that!! cant belive they ended it early i hate that, its a auction the highest bidder wins!!! not the low life that ruins it for the rest of us!!!! arrrrrrrgggggghhhhhhhh.

Hi mscott
It is the seller choice to end if he gets an offer he is happy with. He may also be able to avoid some of his charges by ending it early, as he can then ask for cash on deliver, it just depends how he has listed it.
If you need one you can get one from Express as Bob said above
