Mk2 Series one some queries for my rebuild please?

1. What colour should the cable holders under the bonnet be grey or black?

2. On the doors the vertical bit of trim (see image below) should this be:

Black

Chrome

or Body Colour?

[as my car when sandied had a combination of all three!!]

3. Finally was the front bumper any different on a lotus to other versions as someone has said it should not have holes and bolts where overriders could be added?

4. Metal part between fuel filler hole in the back panel and the hose to the tank should this be original metal or painted silver or body colour?

All guidance gratefully received!!

Hi, Good to hear of your progress,

1. I'm using Grey ones, Phil sorted me out with some.
2. Chrome
3. I've seen a couple of mk2 LC's that have had overriders put on, I personally perfer without. I'd go with what you perfer.
4. Struggling to remember this, I have'nt used one for a few years. I'll have a look next time I'm in the garage.

The washer pipes under the bonnet are they the light yellow/beige colour as on Mark 1's?

Do you know where I might get a pair of vertical chrome trims that I need, I have one black and one chrome at the moment!!

They are originally clear pipe. They only go yellow / beige with age.

Your Mk11 should have clear pipe.
