Race Retro 2014

Lovely shots Graham. This bike looks like something out of wacky racers!

Hi Graham,

I tried desperately to get CTM to attend Brands last year as the working cutaway of their Twin Cam was excellent and so was their work on the other engines they had on display.
I thought it would have gone down a treat with all that attended Brands and was a great catchment for them.
Sadly despite my efforts and for what reason after them agreeing to attend they just didn't turn up!

Shame!

It was all that rain.

All you can do is try Andy - and it is a shame they didn't make it to Brands with that cutaway Twink, a real head turner for those that know what it is.

That bike is just bonkers Steve!

Seen a working cutaway Twink before, in a Scottish car museum in the late 90s. It wasn't powered by a fancy electric wiper motor though, that one had an old steering wheel attached to the crank pulley :)

Am I right in thinking that those clever CTM guys once used to work for Burton's engineering dept?
