If you get stuck Rob these are very reasonably priced and made by the original supplier (Springall). They are top quality and supply the bosses as well. Scroll down to Lotus.

I have one on my 66 Elan.
Wrong dish for an Elan, but I believe right dish for cortina?
Could swop for the right dish on a woodrim wheel.
Regards Mick.

Mick

Ive sold all my spare steering wheels with most of my other spare parts

PM me details of your wheel

Regards
Rob

Unfortunately no point in sending any pictures if you have no wheel to exchange ?🤔
So still looking for the correct Elan wheel.😊
Regards Mick.

I have a few S4 Elan steering wheels
One with Chapman signiture

They look nice on Cortina and feel so much better than the wood ?

Hi Keith
This is the one I have, almost definitely for a Lotus Cortina SE.
The one I need has a much flatter dish , and the same diameter 15".
Please excuse the two greasy finger marks on the top
RH side.

That looks like an aeroflow one with Elan boss - which car is it for?

This is an early SE wheel.

I think this has been specially made for someone.
As far as I am aware, the leather SE wheels only became available for the aeroflow models and weren't an option on the early cars !?

You might be right there Pete - no idea where I got this pic from then it's usually Len? Apparently the jury's out on whether they did or didn't

I ended up getting a wheel from Jacob engineering

Very pleased with it
Real nice people to deal with and a superb product ?

I have a Pre-airflow/Pre-aeroflow woodrim wheel for sale.
Wheel is in very good condition it is the rare 64 type with no studs on the rear!
Spokes are at 10 to 2 and 6

I have a couple of pictures but still haven't mastered or understood how to post on here!
I can do cut and paste why isn't it that simple???? Grrrr!
