Can someone tell me which end of the cable should have the rubber stop? Does it go at the speedo end or the gearbox end?
My speedometer wants to hang up at random speeds and I believe the cable is slightly too long and protrudes too far into the works of the speedo so I am trying to resolve this and plan to trim a little off the end. If the rubber stop goes on the speedo end, does the amount protruding past the stop look too long?
