I want to see the original shape of the brake pipes where they go into the 5-way brake pipe connector.
Especially from servo.
Has anyone got the photos for Lotus Cortina MK1 sir1?

Regards,
Hiro :D

Dave are you going to smear the steel ones with grease to stop then corroding? I can't imagine you with all that grit embedded in them under your car

Hi All,

I’ve just seen period GIRLING catalogue(1962- Application list G320) and found Pipes information.
From the list, They have “Zinc coated bundy pipe” is available in 15,25 and foot length at that time.
3/16”/OD parts# 64462325Z
So probably the original steel pipe(top one) has treatment by Zinc(Rust protection).
However now We can not use same treatment materials for environmental issues as you know.
So it’s little bit different color and finish, I think.

Hi Steve,
I think the brake pipes on BMK looks like original and the shaped is correct.

All the best,
Hiro :D
