Winter 2019 QB

Just received the winter QB and yet again another bumper edition. A bit of everything in there, restoration stories, owners stories, delving into the club archive. Well done Rick. And the new club window sticker is an added bonus.

I agree with Steve that it is a good read but perhaps the members might would like to hear of a spooky coincidence. The photo of BOO 775B on the 'archive' page is taken from the July 1992 QB where a previous owner is asking "where is it now?". Well the answer is I know where it is 28 years later and am in the process of writing an article for the next QB about it.

Whilst tracking this down with Ray, I found this.

Just received my copy of QB what a great job you do with this mag.
Congrats. Rick and your team.
I was delighted to see my car on the cover with my son Neale AKA Santa Claus throwing lollies
to an eager bunch of children at the Small Ford Car Club of NSW Christmas Party.
Very interesting content, particularly the workings of a power brake booster [Servo].
I enjoyed the story of NAR 632D, it has inspired me to start putting pen to paper with the story of
my car OVW 323D.
Cheers Geoff

Also just received out here in the colonies. I’m knee deep in a bare metal resto and the mag is just what I needed. Well done Rick & co. Hope to also send in a story when I’m done. Cheers
