Brake Question

Hi Guys

I don't know if anyone can help but after a run there is brake fluid on the underside of the brake master cylinder. It appears to be coming from over the top of the edge of the reservoir and running down the sides rather than leaking through a seal on the body of the cylinder, or where the brake pipe goes in, it's also bone dry where the rod from the brake peal goes in to the master cylinder. The level in the cylinder is about on the right level and it's only started doing this. Any ideas?

Thx

James

It sounds like the seal has gone in the lid or it's not seating properly as the only other place would be the vent hole and that's unlikely.

Try a spare cap if you have one.

You haven´t replaced the pads or linings?

No, I was wondering if the rear drums may have adjusted up and pushed the fluid levels up (I guess those self-adjustors do work sometimes!).
