Carb setup

I have just removed a set of 45DCOE13 carbs to refit the correct 40DCOE18 carbs. I have all the original air cleaner assembly to fit as well(yes i know, i was lucky to find it). Here is the question, on an April 67 MKII LC are there any carb trumpets in the air box and how are they set up?

All the books i have only show 68/69 set ups.

18's on a mk2, are you sure Mark??
Trumpets were used on all as far as I know

Lotus cortina mk2 = 40DCOE 31, mk1= 40DCOE 18. But only the very fussy would mind.
