Fitting of front quarterlight opening rubbers

Anyone done this and have some useful insight before I start ?

yes several times

leave the factory external rivet where the window pivots there (as i have not found a suitable replacement yet)

drill out the 2 rivets from behind the rubber to allow the

rubber to fit into place

once done re rivet the 2 and your done

it can take some trial and error before you rivet to make sure the rubber is in the right position

just check the window opens without scratching at the top

On the subject of opening quarterlights ,could somebody please confirm the factory finish of the opening 1/4 light frame and the vertical metal part of the drop glass runner , i assume they are both ermine white ?
