After replacing my fuel tank today I went out for a run and a visit to the petrol station to fill up. I pulled onto the forecourt filled up with fuel and went in to pay. When I returned to my car I noticed a small wet patch on the concrete under the engine, I looked underneath but could not see anything dripping.
I went for a good run, when I got back to my garage I looked underneath again and I could see petrol dripping onto the floor. The fuel is dripping off of the bottom rear mounting bolt on the front carb.It does stop but I am not sure where it is originates from. When it stopped dripping I started the engine, ran it for a couple of minutes and it was fine.
I am thinking that maybe it drips after a run but not sure why.
Has anyone any ideas or have experienced this themselves.
