Weather was I understand great on Sunday, shame I was there getting soaked Saturday.

Already booked for the Saturday again this year.

I'm assuming that to be infield you have to be a Goodwood member (there's a waiting list to join).

I parked with loads of other classics in a filed set aside (pre-book for free).

I've previously asked for a club stand, which won't happen as they charge for any display areas..

What's the situation there with parking for classics? Some cars look to be track side!

No, they are all outside.
there is an inner car park area for classics which is closer to the entrance than the general car parks but not inside the circuit area like this

We were camped next to the owner of this who has been going for years, it was absolutely concours

He set off early, 7.00am and it was parked on the front rank of the classics close to the entrance!

Spotted this one

When I was at revival last year 2016 all the e-types were parked together in the classic car park 'over the road'
There were 100's of them

Could you not ask if the LCR could have a small designated area in that classic car park ?

I think this has to be the best car event I have been to
I can't wait to go back this year

Kind regards
Rob

HI Rob

Yes your right it is the best car show even with out watching the racing, Good point about a designated area for lotus cortina's as the e-types,

I've been for the last 4 years and going this year its fab.

Good idea.

When I booked mine in to the "classic car park" the chap on the phone was extremely helpful and enthusiastic.

Leave it with me.

It has to be the MEGA classic car event bar none,- been a few times and will keep going.
There were loads of E types but I'm sure there are no designated club stands or areas set aside. it's first come first served (or parked).

Yes a designated parking area for just Lotus Cortinas would be great but would have to be for Saturday and Sunday I have already applied for tax free parking.
