I've not seen the car , but by reading the link its seem pretty clear to me that the person that had seen it thought something is not right with the car.
If you are seriously interested in the car then one of the benefits of being an LCR member is you can get it inspected for a small fee.
Thats a bit late now as the auction was yesterday!
The car was in realy good shape needs a few small repairs and a repaint
We got it back today and it passed its mot 1 st time drive perfect in fact very well better than my other car its fitted with a slipper and all panels are alloy. its on leaf springs .Im sure its a lotus but may be a little altered from its original build .
But with 2 door GTs making 10k plus makes this seem cheap the motor is realy sweet its only covered 600 miles since a complete rebuild by Tipton .
costing 7 k bills with the car. its a unwelded shell and very clean under side very strait in the panels all in all im very pleased with the car .Ill post some photo tomorrow thanks all for the help// mark
well she passed the mot so i think that says it all realy, I drove the car to work and back for a week and I can say that it was fun to drive and quick too. and she has now been sold .but i have more haha
Hi Louis The new owner is a trader collector has a few twincam mk1 LCs ect, He knows the car is not all correct but for all that I could of sold over and over. and it was worth the money its on the road and good fun.
