1964 Pre airflow Lotus Cortina
Ive had the car since 2006. Done many LCR events in this car. Runs and drives very strong and in good condition.
Some original parts are long gone. Car has steel bonnet & Boot but has got original alley doors. A frame is long gone although mounting brackets are still on chassis so A frame could be re fitted.
Car is known to LCR and was inspected back in 1998.
The car has a 1970 GLC issued VIN number and is registered 1970 with 1964 build date. Original Lotus shell. The car was given an age related registration back in 1990's with help from LCR
Bare metal respray 11 years ago and it still looks very good
Engine rebuilt around 8 years ago.
Not a rusty car.
Car has not been used much in last 2 years.
Had a well known music/band owner many years ago ?
Old MOT papers, Copy of all old log books and owners. Some paperwork pictures etc
If your looking for a mint numbers matching car then this is not for you. If you want a good solid usable car that is a genuine Pre airflow Lotus thats fun to drive then this is the car.
Ive just got far too many cars so am again reducing the collection. Will upload pictures once I find them
