Magnersium Minilite cortect colour

Hi everyone, can anyone help me with the correct colour of the magnesium minilites for my '67 Mk2 LC. Apparently they have been on the car since it was brought here to Australia in 1971.

I've had a few hairline cracks in the wheels removed and welded by a professional magnesium welder and they are now ready for paint.

When I restored some magnesium minilites a long while ago I was told by someone at tech-del that at one time they were painted with ford silver fox. That is what I used (cellulose) and they looked very good to my eye. There were probably other silvers used over the years, so perhaps no one correct colour.
