A Frame Group Buy

The supplier will be Lotus Cortina Spares Centre.
A minimum of 15 orders required

The A-Frames are a reproduction of the original, and even have the word “LOTUS” in the castings as per the original. They are supplied with the LCSC own bush kit.

These costs are approximate. Definite costs will be advised once 15 people show an interest.

Please add your name to this post if you are interested stating what you require, ie A Frame , Radius Arms or the whole lot!!

Cost:
A-Frame and bushes : £600 (excluding VAT and p+p)
Pair of Radius Arms (no bushes): £270 (excluding VAT and p+p)
4 Radius Arm bushes (Rubber as per original): £78 (excluding VAT and p+p)

Important: The A Frames will have to be paid for in full at the time the order is placed with the LCSC

I will co-ordinate this group buy. Please direct all questions to me.
Please do not contact LCSC directly if you need these items. You will not get them unless you personally order 15 sets!!!

Finally once the order is placed the minimum delivery time will be at least 6 months due to the LCSC current work load.

Thanks for the information and for putting this list together. Lets hope we can make the magic 15. To get the ball rolling I would like to order the following as part of the group buy.

First Item A Frame and bushes.

Second item. Who knows what the future holds so I will order a complete set as a spare. i.e.

A Frame and bushes.
Pair of Radius Arms
4 Radius Arm bushes.

What about the axle casing with the welded on mounting bracket, does that come as part of the A frame. What is the price for the whole thing/everything complete ready to fit ?

Rob - Unfortunately this is not for a modified axle , that would be extra.
We can talk about that on another post just so as not to confuse this group buy.

Just a quick update. Things are slow (as I expected) , but I do have one more definite to add to the list , and I'm chasing up 5 "maybe's".

I know there are more people out there who need these and there are people looking into to getting them made. I have even looked into getting them made myself. And beleive me if (and a big if) you can find some one to make them they will cost a whole lot more then these Lotus Cortina Spares Centre ones , and you will probably have to sacrifice a perfectly good A frame to get it done. If a miracle happens and one does turn up on ebay it will also sell for more than these.

So if you need one this is your best chance of getting one. This group buy is open to all , including oversea's and non LCR members.

I'm just giving this post a little bump up to the top.

I've been updating my original post with the interested parties.
We are moving in the right direction - with interest from all four corners of the globe.

I will probably put myself down for an A frame - so that only leaves 6 more people interested.

If you have been thinking about this then now is the time to step forward. This is a safer bet then having your cash in the Northern Rock :roll:

Hi Gary. The Lotus Cortina Spares centre pulled out of making these items for this Group Buy , but Dale Stephenson then made up some sets. He is a member here - user name docspares. Send him a PM - I'm sure he has a couple of sets left.
