MK1 Hand Brake Lever - LHD vs RHD

Can anyone confirm if the same part is used in both LHD and RHD cars? The parts book specifically mentions RHD , no mention of LHD.

Does anyone have one for sale? Need for a LHD car (if that matters)

Different.
Think of the turning motion to release
RHD faces left
LHD faces rht
Rotate opposite ways.

Have seen LHD ones being passed off as RHD on fleabay
To keep price up nasty people on there !!!

I have got a genuine lhd handbrake assembly
Correct it turns the opposite way to rhd

Problem is i bought it for a rhd car

I would swap it for a rhd item
