MK1 lotus Cortina spotted

Hi walking from matlock bath to matlock town on A6 Sun 29th March about 4.30pm spotted MK1 lotus cortina on a D plate powering away from the lights.

Can you remember if the total reg number was a short one? Also did it have a number 4 in it? If it was as i have described then i think i know the car and the owner

sorry don't know any more of the reg, but what i would say is it looked very original and not restored but in good condition.
