Hi Ray,
155HCR belonged to a mate of mine back in the late sixties.I then saw the car again when Simon Hadfield was building into a racer for his dad George. I went over to Simons to buy some bits for my racer MAB66D(Sold to Japan with an very special ex Alan Mann Mk1 O hindsight is great)
Anyway after a couple of seasons Glen Norris bought HCR from George
and I understand Glen had a lot of sucess with the car.
If you turn up any pics of the 82 or 83 pre 65 I would love to see them

Hi Alan, Thanks for responding to the topic. I do have a couple of photos of 155HCR in Autosports of 84 and 85, but I would welcome anything that you can turn up. I am in regular contact with Glen Norris and his son Charles, and have also spoken to Simon Hadfield but I afraid that photos and race items from that era seem to have got lost. I am very interested in contacting your friend that owned the car prior to its race history, are you still in contact with him? I would like to have a complete history of the car eventually so any help would be really appreciated.monstermob13 said:

Hi Im sorry I just realised I got a bit confused Glen owned my car MAB before me not HCR,But I do have a pic of HCR with George driving with my red car in the fore ground.Alan

Hi Scott, Thank you for finding this photo, it looks like the old hairpin at Mallory Park. The car in front belonged to Dave Piggott and I know he would love to trace what happened to his old car so I have posted a 'where is it now' on his behalf. This photo, was one of Duncan Tough's collection, some of which he passed on to me, when he
moved from his farmhouse to a narrowboat. There aren't too many of racecars, but i did take quite a few
myself in the Brands paddock, circa 1988/89.
I can dig through them and post up any reg number that I snapped there. Post your requests!
It's a great shame about the site cropping the photo's, as there's a third L/C in that photo of
Duncan's, although the reg number is not visible. Can anything be done about it Steve/Louis?

Scott - there is an photo automatic resizing modification I need to make to the forum which I planned to do over Xmas , but the source site for the fix was out of action. I'll get onto it ASAP.

Still not fully displayed- BUT- if you double click on the picture you get the full image, but also full access to all the pictures Scott has in that album?, I don't know if that’s a photobucket thing or not?- and maybe Scott isn’t aware of that?- enfact it applies to anyone with a photobucket account-myself included so be warned - I keep all "private :lol: " pictures in a separate folder.... now where did I leave that dress.....
