Nice car, good project!
Maybe it's just the light in the pics, but doesn't the paint look very "white" white?
And not the slightly "yellow-ish" Ermine White?

Couldn't see any mounts for the radius arms on the rear axle casing?
And why fit lowering blocks on a Lotus?
Rear springs don't have the "offset" front eye, like on a Lotus.

I'll hang up my "originality police" coat now... :)

Lotus Cortina mk1 1965 This car was commissioned to be rebuilt for Mr McCarthy, Unfortunately he passed away before completion. He was a known authority for Lotus Cortinas. He parted with his special equipment mk1 to finance the creation of this car, to his own specification. He was building a fast road car, it was totally built with this in mind. The body was completely built, having fitted alloy doors, bonnet, and boot. The car was stripped and dipped. Body cost alone in excess of 25K. The twin cam engine was rebuilt (Big Valve) 2000e gearbox, and axle, all have been rebuilt. The car has had no expense spared and it is not run in, having only covered 25 miles after stunning restoration. The car is pristine, no part left untouched. The chassis and underside is restored to perfection. You have to see this vehicle. Great opportunity to own possibly the best Lotus Cortina Mk1 rebuilt, for fast road use as was his wish. Stunning build of a Lotus Cortina MK1 to fast road spec.
