Thanks Steve,
I have owned a mk2 series 1 for nearly 14 years. I stripped and painted it 11 years ago then life took over (kids, work, house move, extensions etc etc etc). But in the background I have been doing a bit here and there getting things sorted seats, prop, chrome work and a full engine build all done.
The car has just gone back to paint for the green flash to be added, a decision I’ve deliberated over for the past 11 years.
Completion is in sight :shock:

Welcome back, i see you've fitted a removable module front timing cover/water pump, saves a lot of work and scraped knuckles. I have a Burton one going on my engine.

It's looking fantastic. It's a good feeling when you know the finishing line is in sight.
