ROW 292G Green Lotus

Same car with much the same advert was on ebay a couple of months ago. I always feel there must be a reason when the same cars with the same adverts keep reappearing. Why are they not selling? Is there something dodgy or are they just looking too much money?

This car has been up for sale a number of times over the last year and either not met reserve or not been bid on. I've heard some negative things about it but won't repeat as I haven't seen it myself.
Having just seen what appeared to be a pile of rust on a trailer sell for £3360, if the sale went through that is, then I don't see why this Green one can't sell.
If anything will put the price of L/C's up it will be people paying silly money for basket cases, the black MK1 with V6 for £7K comes to mind, rather than £130K for possibly the best example around.

i have to agree with you tim.i am starting to think if i can justify paying the current prices.my wife will not be happy with me parting with 15k+ when she sees a conservatory or big chunk of the mortgage paid off!coming from a selfish point of view heres hoping to a recession and prices falling(though i dont see it happening)lol.

That rusty old lotus is mine and have had to re-list it as the prat who was the highest bidder hasn't even bothered to get in contact. But every cloud has a silver lining. Just as i re-listed the car. The second highest bidder phoned me and wants to collect next week and plans to restore the car. Fellas got his own body shop. So looks like that rusty old lotus on the trailer has found a new home !!!!!

Funny enough its not, he is new to the Lotus scene but has previously restored other Fords for himself. He hasn't paid for it yet thats why its still listed and i haven't forgot your pm from the other day. Ill let you know the final cost - as you know it starts to add up.
