Rubber elbow for MK2

I need the rubber elbow for the brake servo on my late-1970- MK2. Elbow from front of booster to servo. I imagine this is also used on other cars as well. Any information or a spare would be much appreciated.

Try Powertrack, Peter. If I remember right, it doesn't come with the seal kit, but is supplied as a separate part for about £12.

I'm in contact with Powertrack who quote 100 pounds for a MK2 kit but only 35 pounds for the MK1. Anybody got a comment on these prices?

The MK1 Kit sounds cheap. They are usually £45 - £50.

I'm not sure about the MK11 kit price , but I beleive it comes with the big metal band that goes around the servo casing , and I'm lead to beleive that is not a diy job to change..

If I was you I'd hold out for a correct servo. They are not that hard to find.

Hi Steve. I believe this one, which is for the MK2 is correct. I do have to find one for the MK1 and Lance in the USA has one for $100 US$. I might take that one as I'm just checking the numbers kindly supplied by Tommy.

Mk2B kits are very expensive, mine was 85 pounds plus a hefty postage from UK to Sydney. And in my view they're a pretty average design booster. As you'll know from another post mine had a blowout recently....so I'm planning to fit a local PBR VH44 and I'll keep the Mk2B in a box to pass on to new owner with car if I ever decide to sell. I'm jack of it!

I've got a PBR in the garage. Not sure what it is. It has Patent no 260550
on it but no other id. You are welcome to see it. It cam with the MK1 but it is made in Australia and obviously not for my car. It's not on the car. I hope mine will only be 85 pounds without VAT and I will bring one for the MK1 and ofset the postage.

What you do with the clamping ring on a 2b servo is this;
Weld a piece of tube that a 6mm bolt will pass through onto the outside of the ring and then cut through tube and ring with a hacksaw.
You can now remove and refit the ring, which is then secured with a 6mm bolt to clamp it in place and you do not need a new ring, or special tools to fit it.(This was the method used by Nortons when rebuilding a 2b)
The last time I was quoted for 2a and 2b seal kits, the 2b one was cheaper, but the rubber elbow wasn't included and was about £12 on it's own.
