Speed on M25

From Lotus 7 site. "As of February 15th all cameras on the M25 between J10 and 15 (A3 to the M40) are going digital and having their threshold set at 80mph (true speed) and will be active 24/7, (as opposed to peak times only/93mph at present)"
Don't know any more about it so keep in mind.

70mph, however I believe there is some sort of legal loophole for LC's (espcially when traveling in convoy  ).

Plus this section of the M25 Mark has a variable speed limit. So the speed limit can change dependant upon road/traffic conditions. Usually during rush hour it is down to 50mph.

For those not living in the Uk the M25 rush hour is usually 24/7 (all day/everyday).

At least you guys get to give it a little bit if you want. Our fastest speedlimit on any road is 100KPH which i think works out to about 57MPH. Even though it is 100KPH it is almost impossible to travel accross Auckland at that speed unless you are driving at night.

Is that because of the amount of traffic, or because of the way it is policed. Surely the limit in Aukland is not 100kph,- do you have speed cameras?
What about if you get away from the city, and onto country roads?

The speed limit on the city roads and residential is from 40kph to 60kph. The motorway is a max of 100kph and yes we do have speed cameras. Not to the extent that you guys get them though. The problem of not being able to crack 100kph in Auckland is due to traffic congestion.
Even on the country roads the limit is 100kph.

There is no road in NZ that has a speed limit higher than 100kph.
