Steering Arm Grease nipple Size

Hi, can anyone tell me the grease nipple size for the mk1 straight steering arm, i'm guessing either 1/4 or 1/8 unf ???

I am not sure whether this response is too late and maybe you have already found the answer.
My own car has grease nipples in the steering arms that have 1/4'' UNF threads.
The new pair that I have just received from Team deVille to fit to a mates car have drilled holes for the grease nipples and the thread form is 6mm with a 1mm pitch, that certainly caused a bit of confusion
during my attempts to figure out why the nipples I had wouldn't fit.
So I then had to find a supplier that could help and now I have the ones that fit the metric threaded holes. :roll:

Hi, thanks for the reply. I borrowed :roll: a few stainless nipples from work, they fitted fine and are metric M6
