The shoot was for ITV's Meridian Roadshow and took place at Boreham in June 1998. A whole day's filming resulted in the feature which screened for just 6 minutes! Tim compared the Mark 1 Lotus Cortina to Ford's then latest rally car - a 300bhp 4 wheel drive Puma Cosworth - this car was so new that it hadn't even been homologated!! He introduced the Cortina as being the Puma's "Great, Great Grandfather" - at least I hope he was talking about NAR and not me!! I wrote a full report of my day's experience for the 1998 Autumn QB. The programme was screened on 12 August and again on 23 August in 1998 in the ITV Southern Region only. I have a copy of the programme on DVD (including all of the out-takes) and will bring it with me to the National Day together with other stuff I have. The Puma boys will love it if they're at Gaydon on 26 July!!
