Originaly from East London, had a mk 1 L/C AYJ 575C around about 1973,and a Crayford mk 2 L/C JLX 232K around 74/75 .Then went on to a mk1 V6,Capri 3000E,and anything else that could shift.Started to work in Spain in 77,and moved here fully in 1988,now married to a scouse, and we have 4 children, all boys, from 16 down to 8.
I live in a town called Blanes,about 45 mins from Barcelona,have a couple of Irish bars,and a small resturant.
Last year treated myself to a 65 mk1 lhd for my 50th birthday,my other expensive hobby, apart from my wifes frequent shopping trips to Liverpool, and feeding the lads,is a 1971 mercedes 280sl which also came from the states.
I have dug out some pics of the my old L/Cs and will add them when i get my head round it.

Guinness is a great seller, and i have to try each new barrell to make sure its spot on.
Looking at your photo, thats two of us that enjoy our work!!

Thanks again Andrew that was a kind offer,i have ordered one now with a lot of other bits i needed, the misses should be bringing the bits back this Sunday(shes in Liverpool shopping for a change).
I think a pub meet in Spain is great idea Steve,if were to be in the winter months down south would be warmer, but i get the feeling you guys dont seem the sunbathing type.My wife could organise a shopping trip to Barcelona, for any wifes, girlfriends, and we can sit in the pub for the weekend drinking, and watching football, rugby, and talk rubbish to each other. Horrible!!!

P.S How did that no.plate bracket you got fit up Steve.

Maybe the next committee meeting could be held in Espana, purely to cement relationships of course
