So everyone , who is in the know with whats happening with this LC?
It seems the car is the real deal , but the bidding has gone from mid 17K UK Pounds to zero???
I see the seller is a tough cookie to deal with but at the end of the day he has it for sale and there must be loads of interest. But yet no comments on here????

It was on Ebay Keith but as stated above, it was £17,700 and then all the bids seemed to have been cancelled today leaving one bid at £999.00 before the item ended.

For sale again on Ebay

This car has recently been inspected by the Lotus Cortina Register who confirm it is a genuine 1964 Mk 1 Lotus Cortina. This is a matching numbers vehicle It was first registered on 23rd December 1964.

PLEASE NOTE: This sale comprises the original rolling shell, including original Lotus only aluminium bonnet and doors, plus a steel boot lid. The original engine and head are supplied but are not fitted. It has front suspension, steering box and associated parts which include Lotus track control arms, Lotus steering arms and track rod ends. Rear axle from an estate car, differential units located in axle casing (condition unknown) and rear cart springs. There are also some parts including fuel pump and distributor as you can see in the photos, I ONLY HAVE THESE PARTS, I do not have anything else. The rocker cover is not present.

The engine has undergone recent work but unfortunately I do not have any information.

There has been some restoration work undertaken. The Lotus Cortina Register stated that "although it is not concourse it is MOT standard and has been overpainted in white underneath. Much of the body preparation has been carried out however it will need to be returned to a professional body shop to finish the preparation ready for spraying."

I have the V5 in my name and the inspection certification from the Lotus Cortina Register but no other paperwork or history unfortunately.

I am a private seller. My ex-husband bought this vehicle in 2016 with the intention of restoring it. The vehicle has come into my sole ownership as the result of a court ordered divorce debt. Viewings and/or video calls are possible by appointment for serious bidders. I do have more photos however eBay will only allow 24 to be uploaded.

There is a reserve set on this auction which reflects the value of this rare vehicle.

If you think you want to make me an offer then it will need to be in excess of £30,000 for me to accept. I know what I have and I know what it's worth !
