PERIOD TEAM LOTUS WATCH.

Has anyone got any information on a Period Team Lotus Watch which I found entangled in the dash wiring on JTW498C.Were these available to buy at the time or were they given to drivers/works mechanics?I have had it for some time and have asked at shows before and have had no concrete reply.I will try to upload a photo.

Has anyone seen or heard of these watches?I have been told these watches were given by Colin Chapman to drivers and Team mechanics after the victory at Indianapolis in May 1965.I have had two phone calls telling me the same information.Has anyone got any letters/documentation to support this information?Please email trevorlotus@icloud.com or call 01872 242046.

Hi Trevor, is there any makers marks or hallmarks on the case back or even inside the case back. Most watch manufacturers keep excellent records so this might be a way to trace some history.

Just open it up

If of any quality there will be makers name on movement

Movement serial number will give you a date
