A few more from my collection
WHM 926G - Lotus

I wish it was a Lotus

Its a GT, one of the founding cars of the Crayford Club, and the first Crayford to have joined the MkIIOC back in the day. Today, a very rusty heap. A planned quick tidy and blow over in 1996ish revealed a 4 dr back have been brazed on, patches held in place with mastic, and suspension top mounts that had more filler than steel. In storage since, it may well get restored.......... one day

Thanks for the update. Cross that one off the Lotus list then. Sounds like its going to need some very expensive resto work.

Hi,UGT624F on a classic run to Emerdale and we had to visit the Woolpack on our way.Our Mk1 being judged at Angouleme Circuit des Remparts Concours d"Elegance at night on a stage 2010 a great experience and doing it again this September another 3000 miles on the speedo.

Hi Steve, thanks I was going to try to re-number them as I can attach them to an e-mail but not to the forum.I love the site and mark but have not been a member since the late 90s,I was a member of 5 other clubs at the time and LCR magazine was drying up and with no internet to keep you informed you just lost touch but I still like to look at your forum. Thanks again RONV.

That looks the dogs bollox Graham. I hope you can get it finished in time for the National Day. It would be lovely to see it all completed

Simon

Thanks guys, I'm well happy with it. Its going to be real tight to have it done in time for the national Simon, but I'll do my best.

Hi Graham,
Andy Morell built up his Crayford L/C in about a week, from what I can remember. So there's your challenge!!
I'll call you in 5 days, to see if it's finished.
