I hope you still visit John . Hes a great charactor with loads of stories :D
ile be back to see him when its warmer .Im glad John parted with them . When there done
im hoping to take him for a spin .

The mk1 has a near side ali door skin . The offside is metal.the bonnet skin is ali ,Although it needs a new frame. The boot lid frame apears to be ali yet the skin looks to be metal ?
Im just amassing parts for both the series 2 and the mk1
Anyone got any panels they might part with ?
Mk1
Full sills with steps
A posts
full floor pans
inner sills

Mk2
Rear lower corners both sides all bits

before I go to Geoff again lol
 
Just had both cars checked over by Rick from the LCR .
the police car will be painted its original colour of white . And will probably be returned to a police car ,For shows etc . The mk1 will be put back original 
Rick is a wealth of knowledge and a top chap . Anyone wanting a Lotus checked out can not go wrong with the LCR . Great service and left me with loads of information about both cars . 
I now understand why you need the LCR .

Properly chuffed mate. Im so glad Rick took the time out to visit me and the cars
I am desperate to get on them but it has to be one at a time ,Or I will be overwhelmed with parts
all over my shop ,Its already like a part shop lol .

I did when I found the cars . Wings front panel etc . Just need a few other panels

Now you are a car owner you can see what the LCR is all about. Maybe when the club is getting a slagging elsewhere you can now chirp in with your positive experiences. Share the love , so to speak...... :lol:

A bit keen that one Steve it's not like some members are not keen to criticise others in open forum is it?

Not you I accept! :) but to criticise members of other forums as being critical when ours is supposedly not nah don't see that.

Yeah the mk1 has had wings previously . Ricks told me what I need to do with the nos pair I have
