I have for sale my twincam engine which is currently fitted in my mk I lotus Cortina, STW---D
The engine can be seen and heard running until the 19th April which is when I plan to remove it. I will also be at the three counties show ground next sunday the 13th April
The engine comes complete with the carburetors the only thing I want to keep is the rocker cover.
About the engine
This engine was totally rebuilt 5000 miles ago by a well known engine builder in the south west. The engine sounds good and pulls well I had it set up at Interpro about 18 months ago. The only problem with it is when left for a week oil must get down the valve stems so smokes when first started but when warm its runs fine.
The reason I am selling this engine is because I have purchased another engine for my car with a lot more horse power, The engine which I am selling runs about 120 bhp.
