valuation help

hello, i have just bought a mk2 series 1 lotus cortina, i have insured it OK but i need to get it valued, does anyone know where i can take it, im in Basildon Essex, it needs to be an independent valuer, or similar, any ideas,

hi andy, yes it is, i think it was put on monday evening, i viewed the car yesterday, and put a deposit on it and will be collecting saturday,

Yes, we met at The Lodge on the new Woodham Road - bit cold tonight though.

hi Tim, yes that's the first thing i will be looking at, im not to worried about renewing the pump, done quite a few during the 70's this will be my 8th mk2 now, and 3 mk1's, hindsight is a wonderful thing, :?

Heres another option re the water pump,the module system,once fitted allows you to change the pump with out removing the head,things have moved on a bit since the 70s,including the price!!

your not kidding Andy, it does look a good idea, my cousin has a t/c and someone converted his water pump, something i will look into next week, got another problem now, my mate has phoned and he has virus/bug and cant collect my cortina tomorrow :roll: im just off to find someone with a trailer for hire lol.
