Thanks Rob don't now about the best car but I think it was the best Red rally car , the front shocks are standard legs Steve but I moved the spring platforms up an inch also the TCAs are GT not Lotus if I didn't the wheels would of had a lot of poss camber.

Colin finally got the car finished & took it to Santa Pod last weekend along with one of Don Matheson's cars which has been stored since the 70's now restored by Paul Chapman.

How amazing - I went to a car meet at a local pub yesterday & met up with the 'missing link' from my investigations into the car's history when I first found it all those years ago. A guy came up to me and started telling me about a red car he once had back in the day & after many bits of info were gleened I soon realised it was this one. I managed to get a fair bit of history, but hit a brick wall in the late 60's to early 70's and this guy had it all in his head. Anyway I've passed the contact details onto the current owner & I await his findings.
