Built from an original 1966 Lotus Cortina. To classic/historic rally spec. ideal for the marathan/social rallies in Europe but could easily be upgraded to full stage spec if required.

This car has been carefully prepared to rally spec without ruining an already valuable and rare car. A full SD roll cage has been fitted , a pair of lightweight full FIA approved seats and belts have been fitted , plumbed in and hand held extinguishers , firewalled rear bulkhead , sump and tank guards have been fitted , and ofcourse an LSD has been fitted in the rear axle , aeroquip brake flexi hoses , uprated adjustable shockers , stainless steel exhaust system , the interior still remains original with rear seats still in place , roof ling door cards etc . Lots of other details such as FIA master switch , nav foot rest and map reading light , 4 x aux Cibie oscer driving lamps have all be fitted.

This car really is in superb condition throughout and any inspection is welcome , as you can see from the photos , the underside has been wax oiled. Further photos and details available on request.

Part exchange considered.

County Londonderry registered car and I thought there was only one Northern Irish lotus cortina left. Seems now there are 2 surviving N.I. registered cars with very similar numberplates (9955 IW and 9900 IW).
Nice to see another survivor, but now I am confused about which one I remember from 25/30 years ago.
