The vacuum pipe connector on the back of my early MK1 head is a 5/8" spanner size. I also have a spare connector but it only takes a 1/2" spanner size.
The trouble is the bore size of the vacuum hose from the connector on the servo matches the bore size on the 1/2 connector.
Before I go to the hassel of taking out the connector on the head does anyone know of the thread size on the 5/8 and 1/2 connector will be the same (I doubt it)
If not how do others get round this problem of different bore sizes at either end of the vacuum hose?
Just to clarify I have a bulkhead mounted servo which uses a length of rubber vacuum hose , not a front mounted servo with a steel vacuum pipe.
